Levomepromazine is a phenothiazine used widely in palliative care to treat intractable nausea or vomiting, and for severe delirium/agitation in the last days of life.

    • Is Nozinan safe?

    Nozinan should be avoided or used with caution in patients with liver dysfunction or cardiac disease. The hypotensive effects of Nozinan should be taken into account when it is administered to patients with cardiac disease and in the elderly or debilitated. Patients receiving large initial doses should be kept in bed.

    Is Nozinan good for sleep?

    It is very effective for sleep maintenance (i.e., staying asleep) but not so much for sleep initiation (i.e., falling asleep). Methotrimeprazine can also help with anxiety and pain.

    Does mirtazapine help you sleep?
