Our beautiful Coldwater Canyon Park has reopened and our parking lot is available to the public once again. For your own safety as well as our staff working on site, we ask that you continue to follow all appropriate CDC and County hiking and trail guidelines while visiting.

So head on over to TreePeople and Coldwater Canyon Park for a day of hiking in the beautiful SoCal weather. You can even bring Fido. admission, parking, and restrooms are all free!
Where do you park to hike Fryman Canyon?
Start from a large parking area at the intersection of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Fryman Road, 3/4 of a mile south of Ventura Boulevard. Pay $3 to park your vehicle and begin hiking up Betty B. Dearing Mountain Trail.

There isn’t a dedicated parking lot, but there is free street parking on Casiano Road right by the trailhead. The hill is steep, so remember your parking brake!
