Why Was Karizma discontinued?
Hero had refuted claims earlier this year of discontinuing the model, claiming that it would continue to cater to export markets. However, demand from overseas has also evidently dried up, and it seems the Karizma will get the axe soon.

Why ZMR was discontinued?
Hero MotoCorp has discontinued the Karizma ZMR and the Hunk from the Indian two-wheeler market. With BS-IV emission norms coming into effect from April 1, 2017, Hero has discontinued two motorcycles from its Indian portfolio. Hero has stopped production of the Hunk and the ZMR owing to poor sales.
