I say the DRZ is a great beginner bike because with the mellow power you can be in the wrong gear and it doesn’t matter..just open the throttle and it will pull. A bike with a smaller engine wont be so forgiving,they dont have the bottom end grunt to let you get away with being in the wrong gear.
