- Download a custom map file to your computer.
- Select a location for the saved map file (Selecting a Location for Saved Data Files).
- Select File > Import into ‘[Name]’.
- Select the custom map file, and select Open.
What maps are compatible with Garmin?

Does Garmin have satellite view?
NOTE: This feature is available with premium charts, in some areas. You can overlay high-resolution satellite images on the land or on both land and sea portions of the Navigation chart. NOTE: When enabled, high-resolution satellite images are present only at lower zoom levels.
Will a Navionics card work on Garmin?
NOTE: Navionics accessory cards will not work in Garmin devices.
