Unfortunately the in-game Master Server and server select options are no longer supported. The original developers of The Ship are no more – although Blazing Griffin acquired the rights to publish the game in 2011, we are unable to make technical changes to the game due to licencing agreements.

You need to open your ports, the game is 27015, then get your IP address. Then you have to download the ship server client, host a game via that, your friends have to join the game and input “addip 0 :27015” into the command consol and then look for your server and join.
