Can you custom tune with Cobb Accessport?

The Accessport allows the driver to see, show, and data-log information that is the original ECU lists while your vehicle is turned on. It also lets you have any Cobb licensed Pro-Tuner create a custom tune that is exactly what you want for your car.

How do you change the map on Cobb AP?

To adjust the map slot using the Accessport, navigate to the main menu of the AP, select TUNE — ADJUSTMENTS — CHANGE MAP SLOT — Select the desired map slot. To adjust the map slot using the Accesstuner software, open the COBB Custom Features folder, select Map Switching Features Folder and make the desired adjustments.

Can you use an Accessport without a tune?

Yes to both, there are plenty of threads on APs and you can install without flashing a tune.

Does Unmarrying Accessport remove tune?

Registered. Just go through the menu and uninstall the accessport and you will still have all of your tunes afterwards to reinstall.

Can you tune your own car with Accessport?

You will need software to make these changes and hardware to get those changes onto the ECU. This is most easily done with the Accessport and Accesstuner Software. If you don’t feel confident enough in your tuning prowess to make these changes yourself, you can still tune the car with only the Accessport!

What is a Cobb reflash?

Definitions: Reflash: Permanent flash that remains if the ECU loses power. Realtime: Temporary upload that remains until the ECU loses power or is reset.

Can you install an Accessport without a tune?

You can use the data logging and CEL reading functions of the Accessport without installing the Accessport, but some of the data logging parameters may show incorrect values. As such, we do not generally recommend that you do this. You can, however, data log the stock tune when the Accessport is installed.
