Are dogs allowed in Pog Lake?

Dog-free areas are designated at Achray, Canisbay Lake, Mew Lake, and Pog Lake campgrounds (see campground maps for details). Pets are not allowed in yurts or on campsites with yurts, in ranger cabins, on the Mizzy Lake Trail, and in public buildings.

Can you swim in Pog Lake?

Beach goers can enjoy swimming in the clear water of Pog Lake without worrying about motor boats as they are not permitted on Pog Lake. Pets are not permitted. No lifeguards, water safety is your responsibility.

Is there cell service at Pog Lake?

Pog Lake is a lovely campground – huge trees right on the lake. We had 4 bars of cell service (I know that should not care but I had to check with work). You could clearly hear hwy 60 from our site.

Can you rent a canoe at Pog Lake?

Rentals. Bicycle rentals are available at the Lake of Two Rivers Store. Canoe rentals are available at The Portage Store on Canoe Lake and the Opeongo Store on Opeongo Lake.

No person shall allow a dog off the owner’s property unless under control and leashed, or in the “Dogs Off Leash Recreation Area (DOLRA)”.
