The only spawn time-related information one can count on is that after Vyragosa or Time-Lost Proto-Drake are killed, neither will spawn for 6 hours. Spawns can be anywhere from 6-22+ hours after a kill. This all depends on how fast rares are being killed across Northrend.
What level is the Time-Lost Proto Drake?
The Time-Lost Proto-Drake (TLPD) was introduced in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion of World of Warcraft as a level 80 rare spawn in Northrend. He flies around the zone of Storm Peaks in predetermined routes and is a recolor of the standard Proto-Drake model. Being a rare mount collector, I knew I had to camp him!

Does Aeonaxx spawn?
Aeonaxx’s corpse despawns within minutes of his death, though a couple minutes may need to be added to the time it takes for it to despawn, depending on whether or not his body has been properly looted. When Blood Seeker or Aeonaxx does spawn, it will be at one of six confirmed spawn points.
Whats the chance of TLPD spawning?
Some people have stated that TLPD has a 1/6 chance to spawn and some say the chance is about 1/30 or so.. Since I only have 13 kills tracked, it’s not enough to confirm anything. But out of our 13 spawns, 2 of them were TLPDs.

Vyragosa takes 30 minutes to despawn once killed, while Time-Lost Proto-Drake can take anywhere from 30-50 minutes to despawn, depending on whether or not his body has been properly looted. Vyragosa can be skinned, “forcing” its despawn, effectively shaving off 30 minutes of waiting for a respawn.
