The Elevation Dimension is an object which has to be placed in a Section or Elevation. It automatically finds all stories and dimensions them. All regular ArchiCAD markertypes are available (instead of one in the built-in story marker).

  1. [STEP 1] Open the project, and open [Level 1] floor plan.

  4. [STEP 4] Hover over your plan.
  5. [STEP 5] Select the elevation tag.

Do a right click on the tab and select Elevation (or Section) Settings.

  1. Under the Model Display tab, set Fill Uncut Surfaces with: Own Surface Colors (Shaded) and enable Sun Shadow. Note: You can further customize the shadows by adjusting the angle of the sun azimuth and altitude.
  2. Click OK to exit the dialogue box.
