Is Teguise worth visiting?
Teguise is not only the oldest town in Lanzarote and the Canary Islands, it is certainly the most charming town in Lanzarote. Spending a few hours wandering through the town is really pleasant. We combined the visit of Teguise after visiting the Timanfaya National Park.
Is Costa Teguise better than Puerto del Carmen?
Puerto del Carmen has the busiest vibe and that incredible long Strip. Costa Teguise has a more laid back, surfy feel, and feels more Spanish, as well as being more compact. Playa Blanca is quieter than either and feels a little more upmarket, but it’s very spread out.
Is Costa Teguise quiet?
Costa Teguise is quieter but still has a handful of decent venues, such as the Krazy Lounge that are worth seeking out. There´s regular live jazz at Jazz Mi Madre, close to the Pueblo Marinero and loads of bars and restaurants.

Costa Teguise has numerous bars/restaurants. A lovely square as well, surrounded by nice bars & selection of good restaurants. More bars and restaurants on the beach areas too. There are certainly enough places for a 2 week holiday, without it being loud and ‘in your face’.
