How do you qualify for Usatf Masters?
All Masters Runners, forty years of age or older, may compete in the Individual Grand Prix by joining USATF and registering and competing in one of our National Championships, listed below. There are no qualifying standards to participate in Championship events.

The USATF Adult Membership is for the athlete, coach, official, club admin, event director, volunteer, parent, fan and supporter of the sport. Adult members are aged 19 years and older. $40.00 per Calendar Year plus transaction fee. Memberships are active for the calendar year in which they are purchased.

Starting blocks are optional for all age groups except the 15-16 Year Old and 17-18 Year Old age divisions in the AAU Track & Field program. The 15-16 Year Old and 17-18 Year Old age divisions must use starting blocks for 100m, 200m and 400m races and the first leg of all relays where that leg does not exceed 400m.

The top eight (8) finishers in each event and each age division qualify from the AAU Primary National Championships (combined results), AAU Club Championships, AAU West Coast National Championship and West Coast Unity Games to the AAU Junior Olympic Games.
